The 50 years old American journalist has been the anchor of ABC World News Tonight and co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. Both are part of the ABC news department.
His news reporting received the most airtime in 2012/2013. He was born in a Roman Catholic family in Syracuse, New York, and grew up in Onondaga Hill.
At an early age, he watched ABC News ‘flagship program each night with his family and credits longtime anchor Peter Jennings as his biggest journalist influence.
In May 1991, he graduated from Onondaga Central Junior-Senior High school and attended local Ithaca College, graduating from manga cum laude with a B.A. in journalism in May 1995.
