Personal Life

At the age of 26, King Von died on November 6, 2020. In Atlanta, Georgia, King Von was shot outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge. His injuries caused him to die.

A dispute in a parking lot, according to sources, triggered the tragic gunshot. The fight resulted in the deaths of two more people.

King Von stood 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed an undisclosed amount. His eyes were black, and his hair was black.

He had a relationship with Asian Doll, another rapper.

His father, Walter E. Bennett, had six half-siblings, while his mother, Taesha, had three siblings. His father was in and out of his life owing to his incarcerations, therefore he was largely raised by his mother. Von was 11 years old when he was tragically shot.

Career

In 2018, King Von launched his rap career. He belonged to the OTF collective, which was led by his good friend Lil Durk. Chief Wuk, Booka600, Hypno Carlito, and Yung Tory were among his OTF labelmates.

A former member of the crew was rapper Lud Foe. THF Bay Zoo’s song “Beat Dat Body” featured King Von in June 2018. In July 2018, he released his solo tune “Problems.”

It was included on Lil Durk’s album Only The Family Involved, Vol. 1 (2018). On the track “Dirty Diana,” YFN Lucci contributed a guest voice.

In October of 2018, Von released his first single, “War With Us.” On YouTube, the accompanying music video has over 5.5 million views. Jerry Production was in charge of the filming.

Von and Lil Durk appeared on Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy’s The Breakfast Club in November 2018. “Crazy Story,” Von’s next smash hit, was released in December 2018.

It didn’t let anybody down, with thousands of streams in the first week. As a WorldStarHipHop exclusive, the official video for Crazy Story was revealed. A Zae Production shot the video.

Von and JusBlow 600 released their single “Cousins” in March 2019. In May 2019, he released the second chapter of his “Crazy Story” song, which featured Lil Durk.

On the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, it reached #4. Grandson, Vol. 1, Von’s debut studio album, was released in September 2019.

Levon James, his second full-length effort, was released in March 2020. Along with YNW Melly, the latter reached #63 on the Billboard 200 with singles like “2 A.M.” and “Rolling.”

NLE Choppa and Polo G, to mention a few, made guest appearances on Levon James. Empire Distribution handled the album’s distribution.

Welcome to O’Block, the rapper’s third album was released in October 2020. “All These N!gg@s,” “I Am What I Am,” “The Code,” and “Why He Told” are among the tracks on the album.

The album was released as a digital download and streaming service. Von was also featured in Sada Baby’s album Skuba Sada 2’s track “Pressin” in 2020. (Deluxe).

On Instagram, Twitter, and other social media sites, he had thousands of followers. On Spotify, he had over 2.5 million monthly listeners.

At the time of his death, King Von was an American rapper and composer with a net worth of $750,000. He made a good living and gained a lot of recognition in the music world.

Achievement

In 2020, he released his first studio album, Welcome to the O’Block. The album charted at #1 in the United States, #3 for R&B/Hip-Hop, #5 on the Billboard 200, and #12 in Canada.

Grandson, Vol. 1 was published in 2019 and reached #39 on the US Indie chart, while Levon James was released in 2020 and reached #8 on the same list.

His singles “Took Her to the O” and “The Code” (with Polo G) charted at #14 and #22 respectively on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. “Crazy Story 2.0” is one of his other hits (featuring Lil Durk).

Death

On November 6, 2020, he was involved in a fight between two groups in a downtown Atlanta nightclub. Police officers used gunshots to settle the argument. He was slain, as were the other two.
