Nicholas Scott Cannon (born October 8, 1980) is a television host, actor, rapper, and comedian from the United States. Cannon began his career on All That as a teenager before going on to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer. He appeared in several films, including Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce.
In 2003, he released his debut self-titled album, which included the single “Gigolo” a collaboration with singer R. Kelly. In the 2007 film Goal II: Living the Dream, he played the fictional footballer TJ Harper. Cannon recorded the singles “Dime Piece” and “My Wife” in 2006 for the upcoming album Stages, which was never released.

Early Life
Nick Cannon was born on the 8th day of October 1980 in San Diego, California. His grandfather took care of most of his upbringing. The Bay Vista Housing Projects in Lincoln Park were where he grew up. When he was a teen, Cannon belonged to the street gang known as the Lincoln Park Bloods, but after losing a close friend to violence, he decided to leave the group. Nick made a brief appearance in “Men in Black II” in 2002. His first leading role came when he played Devon Miles in the 2002 comedy “Drumline” and the following year’s drama “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” The movies “Shall We Dance” “Roll Bounce” and “Bobby.” from 2006 are among others. Nick’s criticism of NBC in his Showtime comedy special, “Stand Up, Don’t Shoot.” however, had the network thinking about firing him. Executives at NBC initially rejected Cannon’s resignation because he was technically still under contract and they could have sued him for breach of that contract. The decision was made to accept it, and Tyra Banks took over as host of “America’s Got Talent”.

Nick Cannon Show
An offshoot of All That is the American comedy television programme The Nick Cannon Show. Along with All That, The Amanda Show, and Taina, it aired on Nickelodeon’s SNICK block from January 12, 2002, to February 22, 2003. The idea behind the semi-scripted series was that Nick Cannon, a former All That cast member, would “take over” a situation he thought needed improvement in order to make it better, or at least funnier. To leave his mark on something related to the day’s episode, Cannon would write “Nick Cannon Was Here” at the conclusion of each episode. It was a perpetual running joke. The programme has never appeared on Nickelodeon or any of its sister networks.
The second season of the show suffered from low ratings as a result of production and cast changes, and it was cancelled in February 2003. Volumes 1 and 2, which combined for 19 episodes, of The Nick Cannon Show were made available on iTunes on November 11, 2013.
