Guillaume Cizeron (born November 12, 1994) is a French figure skater born in Montbrison, France. In partnership with Gabriella Papadakis, he is the 2022 Olympic gold medalist, the 2018 Olympic medal winner, a five-time World champion (2015–2016, 2018–2019, 2022), a five-time European champion (2015–2019), the 2017 and 2019 Grand Prix Final champion, and a seven-time French national champion (2015–2020, 2022). In the Grand Prix series, they have eight gold medals. They previously won silver in the 2012 Junior Grand Prix Final and the 2013 World Junior Championships. He competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, and earned a silver medal.

Before migrating to Canada, Cizeron studied fine arts in Lyon. On July 14, 2014, he moved from France to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, following his coach, Haguenauer.
For years, Cizeron had been upfront about his sexuality with his family, friends, and many in the skating world. He uploaded a public photo on Instagram of him and his lover in May 2020, both to honour the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia and to aid individuals in locations that aren’t as welcoming to LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) people.
Family
Guillaume Sizeron was born in Montbrizon, Loire, on November 12, 1994. His parents teach physical education, and all of the Sizeron children participate in sports. Initially, Guillaume practised judo and jumped on a trampoline, but his elder sister encouraged him to try figure skating in 2001.
The parents had no intention of raising the boy in sports, but they soon realised that their kid was a natural dancer.

His career kickstarted when he was initially paired with Gabriela Papadakis. The teenager felt ashamed and declined on the grounds that he and one of his friends are good skaters. The effort was repeated in 2004, and this time the lads sensed each other’s support right away.
Guillaume, according to his father, required continual monitoring while the whole family enjoyed canyoning since he constantly wanted to go beyond what was allowed. On the ice, he attempts to broaden his horizons, but the regulations get in the way.
In the 2011-2012 season, Papadakis and Sizeron danced to Joe Strummer’s Mondo Bongo and Celia Cruz’s Oye Como Va, which were both sung by Elvis Presley. Niagara’s Je dois m’en aller pop group performed at the concert. The pair relocated to Canada during the off-season and began training with the new coaching team. The athletes continue to represent France despite residing in Montreal.
Coach Patrice Lozon is now working with them. Marie-France Dubrey and Romain Hagenauer are the choreographers for Dancing on Ice. Classics dominated the 2014-2015 season. The crowd was familiar with the pasodoble and flamenco dances through Christina Oyos’ performances. One of the acts from the ballet “Le Parc” was used as the foundation for an arbitrary dance set to Mozart’s music (adagio from concert No. 23). The show skaters performed Irish artist Hozier’s song Take Me to Church.
Guillaume believes he is selfish, but he wants to rectify himself because such a personality makes it impossible to operate as a partner. He tries not to be too close to his partner, but he also doesn’t want to be too far away. Sizeron is impervious to manipulation. He doesn’t want to play a vase that portrays the girl as a lovely flower to the audience. Sizeron and Papadakis are equal partners in the dance. It’s tough to tell who plays the primary role in the dance from the footage of their performances.
