In 2005, she starred in Mr and Mrs Smith. She did The Good Shepherd in 2006. In 2007, it was Beowulf and Wanted in 2008. She also featured in Changeling same 2008.
After a series of movies, she rested in 2009. In 2010, she resumed work with Salt and The Tourist.
She played a key role in Maleficent (2014), Sequel (2019) and Come Away (2020).
Then in 2021, she featured in Those Who Wish Me Dead.

J met her first husband, Jonny Lee Miller, in 1995 when she featured in Hackers. The relationship went fast and smooth as they got married in 1996. Unfortunately, it went slow and sour as the two love birds divorced in 1999.
