Kevin Hart was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 6, 1979. Nancy, Kevin’s mother, raised him and his older brother Robert. She worked as a systems analyst in the Office of Student Registration and Financial Services at the University of Pennsylvania. Hart attended George Washington High School. He briefly attended Community College of Philadelphia before dropping out to relocate to New York City. He then relocated to Brockton, Massachusetts, where he worked as a shoe salesman.
