Abraham Isaac Quintanilla III, well known as AB Quintanilla, is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, producer, and musician. A. B. was a member of the band Selena y Los Dinos and the brother of Selena Quintanilla-Perez. He played bass guitar, produced, and composed songs for Selena that became hit singles such as “Como la Flor,” “Amor Prohibido,” and “No Me Queda Más.”
After his sister’s death, he continued to produce music under her name. In 1997, he won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album for “Abriendo Puertas”. He has also won several Latin Grammy Awards.
