Curtis James Jackson III popularly known by his stage name 50 Cent, is an American rapper, Businessperson, Actor, Investor, Film producer, Rapper, Screenwriter, Entrepreneur and Songwriter.
50 Cent was Born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York City and raised by his mother Sabrina, a drug dealer, who later died in a fire when Jackson was 8.
Jackson began selling drugs at age 12 then later began pursuing a musical career and in 2000 he produced “Power of the Dollar” for Columbia Records, but days before the planned release he was shot and the album was never released.

Personal Life
Jackson has had a stormy personal life. He had a difficult childhood, as he was involved in drug dealing at the age of fourteen. He dated Shaniqua Tompkins when he was 21, and they have a son named Marquise. Shaniqua, on the other hand, sued him, and their feud was visible on their social media accounts as well.

From the year 1998, 50 Cent pursued a career in music. He began by rapping in the basement of his home.
