Anna started her career by joining Steve Deakin-Davie’s Girl Band Girl Force group in 1997. Steve was composer and producer for Polygram Records at that time and taught interested people how to sing and write songs.
In 2003 she presented Rescue Robots and she appeared in a couple of moments on CITV towards the end of the summer holidays of the same year.
In 2004, she presented a CITV game show called Scary Sleepover, a game show on CITV.
She afterwards presented Milkshake! on Channel 5 before joining GMTV in 2005.
Five years later, ITV took over GMTV and announced that they will be removing her and Jamie Rickers from Milkshake. Her last show in that studio was on 9th May 2010.

She appeared on This Morning and was a Big Brother Bit on the Side panellist from 2013 to 2015.

In 2015, she tried something different and hosted Gumball 3000, a motorsport rally, alongside Robbie Fowler. This car race competition was from Stockholm to Las Vegas and she was outstanding “covering all things cars, fashion and entertainment.”

In 2016 and 2017, she came back to Channel 5 and co-hosted Big Brother Bit on the Side alongside Rylan Clarke. She was the agony aunt and ‘psych’ expert on the TV show.
In 2019, Anna Williamson hosted Celebs Go Dating, as a dating expert in the sixth series of E4 reality dating series.

It hasn’t been all rosy for the blonde. She has talked-about anxiety and panic disorder she passed through at some point in life and went into post-natal depression. Fortunately for her and her loved ones, she came out of it stronger and better. In 2012, she became an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust. She’s also an ambassador for Mental Health Charity Mind. She’s a certified life coach and, in 2019, wrote “How Not to Lose It” one of her numerous books.
