Welcome to today’s episode of our daily bible study. The title of today’s episode is; finding solutions to your problems. You will learn the secret of how to find solutions to all your problems.
Previously, we discussed the topic that says; know when to pray and when to act. In the book of Exodus, we saw that, when Pharaoh and his armies pursued the Israelites, the Israelites were caught between the sea and the armies of pharaoh. At that point, the Israelites became terrified. They cried and criticized Moses for bringing them out of Egypt. At that moment, Moses cried unto God in prayer. God then replied and told him to stop praying but act. God told him to strike the water, he did, and the sea parted; making way for the Israelites to work on dry land. This event thought us that, there are times we need to act and not pray.
When we combine the power of prayer and action, the result is always efficacious. Today’s episode of our daily bible study is titled; Finding solutions to your problems!
Everybody wants a solution to their problem. We are ready to pay huge sum of money to solve a pressing problem. We are ready to pay any amount to get a solution to our problems. Most people, in an attempt to get a solution to their problem, go to places, consult people, use a lot of resources; both finance and otherwise. People exhaust themselves looking for solution to their problems. Well, in this episode, you will learn the secret to finding solution to your problems.
We have to understand that, God made everything he created perfect. For example, the desert has no pool of water but to get clean water in the desert, you only need to dig few feet and you will reach the aquifer. To get clean well water in a non-desert area, you have to dig deeper and deeper in the ground; but the non-desert area gets rainwater sometime in the year. This shows that God makes solutions readily available to all problems, we only need to think smart and locate it.
In the book of exodus, chapter 15 verses 23 to 25. It says; when they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.) So, the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?”
Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
The solution to the bitter water was the wood. The wood was on the ground, but the Israelites did not know that the solution to their problem was right beside them and their problem. They focused on grumbling, instead of looking for a way out of their problem.
This is us today. Whenever we have any problem, instead of calming down to sort a way out, we resort to blame and complain. The blame and complain clouds our minds and sights from seeing the solution that is right next to the problem.
It happens sometimes when we are searching for something, it could be that what we are searching is right on the table, but because we have filled our thoughts with frustration and disappointment, we fail to find what we are looking for quickly.
The water was bitter, and God put the sweetener right next to the bitter water. This is also how God puts solutions right next to all our problems. You only need to focus and look for the solution within. Maybe it is your next-door neighbor that knows the doctor that can treat that ailment. Maybe it is that your brother you stopped talking to that has the contact of the guy that will do the job for you. Maybe it is inside your pocket that you left your keys and you are searching elsewhere.
The message in this episode of our daily bible study is clear, and that is, the solutions to your problems are near you, you only need to pause and ponder. You only need to calm down and think straight. You only need to research around you.
God made His world perfect; he will always put a solution close to a problem. So, whenever you have any problem, do not go far to search for the solution, look within and you will find the solution.
May God open our eyes, that we may see the solutions he puts within and around every of our problems. Amen.
